Background:
An opportunity exists for a PhD scholar to conduct research into why girls and women who had aspired to STEM careers in high school, opt out of those choices and careers, working with awarded Supervisor Professor Helen Watt on her unique longitudinal datasets within the Sydney School of Education and Social Work.
This Scholarship is funded by the Australian Research Council Future Fellowship scheme.

Value and Duration:
The Scholarship will provide an annual stipend allowance of $26,300 per annum for up to three years, subject to satisfactory academic performance. A successful recipient from the Sydney School of Education and Social Work can apply for up to $2,000 per annum to cover expenses for attending conference(s) relevant to the subject of research.
