About this scholarship

Background:

A unique opportunity is available for an outstanding PhD scholar in the area of computational biomechanics.

Open to:

Applicants must have an unconditional offer of admission for full-time studies in a PhD, or masters by research program within the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies at the University of Sydney, and be willing to undertake research in the field of computational biomechanics.

Applicants must also hold an Honours degree (First Class or Second Class upper), or a Master's degree in a mechanical, aerospace or biomedical engineering with experience in numerical modelling, finite element methods and design optimization in solids and fluids.

Value:

The Scholarship will provide an annual stipend allowance of $26,682 per annum (fixed rate).

Duration:

For up to three years, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
