About this scholarship

Background: Established in 2007 by a donation to the Faculty of Veterinary Science by Meat & Livestock Australia and the Australian Wool Innovation. The purpose of the donation is to encourage suitably qualified scientists to pursue postgraduate education in animal breeding management with a view to contributing their expertise to Australian livestock industries. This will be achieved through the establishment of a scholarship to cover course fees for selected students enrolled in the Animal Breeding Management (ABMgt) program.

Open to:

  • The scholarship shall be awarded to an Australian citizen or permanent resident. 
  • The postgraduate scholarship may only be awarded to an applicant who is admitted to the ABMgt Program and who enrols accordingly. 
  • The postgraduate scholarship may only be awarded to an applicant who is not in receipt of another scholarship or support for tuition fees of equal or higher value.
