How to apply

No separate application necessary - you must have applied for the RTP Scholarship (domestic or international).

Successful recipients will be notified at the end of each year if they are successful in receiving one of these scholarships to commence the following year.

Benefits

The scholarship will provide a stipend allowance of $30,000 per annum for up to two years for a master's by research and up to three years for a PhD, subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Who's eligible

You must:

• have an unconditional offer of admission or be currently enrolled in a master's by research or PhD at the Sydney Medical School
• apply for a Research Training Program (RTP) stipend scholarship
• undertake research into cancer and/or paediatrics.

Background

This scholarship was established in 2009 by a bequest from Robert John Edwards.
