The Master of Clinical Trials (Research) aims to help students gain a solid understanding of clinical trials methodologies underpinning the design of high quality studies and the knowledge to lead, conduct and appropriately interpret the results of single and multi-centre clinical trials.

Entry Requirements

A successful applicant for admission to the Master of Clinical Trials Research will:

hold a bachelor's degree with first or second class honours in a relevant discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; or
hold a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Trials Practice from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification with a credit average in at least 12 credit points of core units; or
have completed a graduate diploma in a relevant discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; or
have completed the requirements of the embedded Graduate Certificate from the University of Sydney with a credit average, or equivalent qualification.

Admission to candidature requires:

a Bachelor of Education from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification and either the completion of postgraduate studies, or professional experience equivalent to one year full-time in a field considered by the Faculty to be appropriate to the program of study; or
a bachelor's degree and either the Graduate Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification; or
a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification and either the completion of postgraduate studies in Education, or professional experience equivalent to two years full-time in a field considered by the Faculty to be appropriate to the program of study.

Subject to meeting progression requirements in the graduate certificate, you may apply to transfer to the Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies or the Master of Education.
