Applications will be ranked (in the same manner as for all USYD applicants applying for Australian Postgraduate Awards) within each of the disciplines seeking residents at that time.
The highest ranked applicants within each of the disciplines seeking residents at that time, will be requested to attend an interview with the Faculty Academics that oversee this program. Final selection will be made after the interview.
The School of Veterinary Science's combined Master of Veterinary Studies/Master of Veterinary Clinical Studies degree offers practical advanced clinical training in selected disciplines for veterinarians who want to enhance their clinical skills and/or seek to become veterinary specialists.
This combined program is aligned to assist candidates to obtain credentials required to be considered eligible by Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists to sit Fellowship examinations. Many of these credentials also fulfil the requirements of the equivalent European or American Diplomate/Specialist requirements in some fields.
