Entry requirements

 

Admission to candidature for the Master of Taxation requires:

  • a bachelor's degree with a minimum credit average from the University of Sydney, or an equivalent qualification; or
  • a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney, or an equivalent qualification and evidence of two years of relevant professional experience.

Seminars, courses and units of study offered under Sydney Law School's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program meet the requirements for individual members of the Law Society of New South Wales or the New South Wales Bar Association to maintain legal registration through continuing education.

Sydney Law School's taxation units also meet the CPD requirements of the Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand.
