Our Master of Exercise Physiology degree gives you the knowledge, competencies and clinical experience required to deliver safe and effective clinical exercise practice that has a real impact on people's health.
Our course is designed for students who want to be equipped with the knowledge to assess physical and functional capacity, manage risk and design targeted, evidence-based and sustainable exercise programs, and apply these skills in practical clinical settings.
Using applied knowledge in areas such as physiology, musculoskeletal rehabilitation and professional practice, our graduates may work as Accredited Exercise Physiologists in a variety of settings, including:
This course has full accreditation status at the level of Exercise Physiology from Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
Full or provisional course accreditation status must be awarded for graduates to be eligible for accreditation credentialing with ESSA.
Following successful accreditation with ESSA as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, graduates are eligible to provide services under Medicare, the Department of Veterans Affairs, WorkCover and private health insurance funds.
