Masters (Coursework)
This unique program focuses on the emerging area of high-performance buildings with a specialisation in illumination design. You will acquire an evidence-based education on the design, service provision and operation of buildings with a solid knowledge of lighting design principals.
Admission to the Master of Architectural Science requires:
a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or
completion of the requirements of the embedded graduate diploma; or
completion of the requirement of the graduate certificate with a weighted average mark of at least 70 across all the units attempted for the award.
You will graduate prepared for a range of career pathways including architecture, property development, construction or urban planning, corporate real estate, and building services.
The secondary stream could lead to vocational opportunities including lighting designer or lighting specialist, or working with electrical products manufacturing, lighting management services, or an energy services company.
