The Graduate Diploma in Advanced Nursing Practice allows students to explore the ways in which nurses work and practice within clinical environments. This course focuses on developing advanced nursing practice ability with a focus on patient safety and the provision of quality care.
Students will be encouraged to apply this knowledge to their own area of clinical expertise. Upon completion of this course students will have the knowledge, skills and attributes required to develop initiatives in health care and make a substantial contribution to future health care directions.
Completion of the Graduate Diploma program can be used as credit towards a Masters degree in the discipline or a pathway into the Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner).
