Course Description

Are you interested in a career in social justice and social welfare? The Graduate Certificate in Human and Community Services will enable you to understand and appreciate the latest developments in policy, practice and research in the human and community services sector.

You’ll strengthen your professional knowledge and have an opportunity to specialise in your preferred sector, such as community work policy and practice, mental health practice standards, or policy responses to domestic violence in Australia.

This program provides a pathway into the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) for candidates who meet all eligibility
requirements. This master’s degree leads to a professional qualification in social work recognised by the Australian Association of Social Workers.
