Entry requirements

 

To be eligible to apply you will need to fulfill the following criteria;

  • A Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or a PhD from an Australian institution or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated satisfactory performance in an eligible course at the time of application, as indicated by a weighted Average Mark (WAM). Standard applicants must have a minimum WAM of 70 or equivalent to be eligible to apply. Rural applicants must have a minimum WAM of 60 or equivalent. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are expected to have a minimum WAM of 60 or equivalent to be eligible to apply.
  • Satisfactory performance in further admissions assessment as defined in the relevant Admissions Guide, if required.

This course is currently undergoing accreditation with the Australian Physiotherapy Council (APC). Once accredited, graduates are eligible to apply for registration as physiotherapists with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (PBA), overseen by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
