The Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching for Higher Education is comprised of four courses that reflect current trends in higher education, nationally and internationally. This fully online program provides participants with a practical understanding of how to transform teaching practices such that student learning experiences are rich, meaningful and relevant to their professional pursuits. This program enhances participants' knowledge of the contemporary adult learner and explores a range of teaching strategies, as well as the use of educational technologies to create engaging curricula experiences. A culture of enquiry and scholarship is promoted whereby participants will be encouraged to examine their practice via an action research project. The program articulates into a Graduate Diploma, as well as a Masters (by coursework or research).
Full details of the program requirements are contained in the Program Regulations.
