The Graduate Diploma of Social Impact is designed for professionals who are looking to upskill and increase their knowledge of social impact. Designed for a new generation of leaders, you will learn to build the professional capacity of private, public and social sectors of the future, enhance your capacity to lead organisations creating social and environmental value and to operate in a changed cross-sector social landscape where the dynamism of the market is also directed at social innovation. This program also offers a pathway into the AGSM MBA (Social Impact).

The Graduate Diploma in Social Impact has three categories of entry:
Category A
Applicants require a recognised bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) with a credit average (65% or higher) as determined by the UNSW Postgraduate Coursework Entry Calculator; and at least 2 years full-time relevant work experience.
Category B
Professionals without a bachelor degree can apply to the program if they have at least 5 years full-time relevant work experience in government, corporate or not-for-profit sector.
Category C
Students completing the Graduate Certificate in Social Impact (with a minimum overall WAM of 65) are able to articulate into the Graduate Diploma of Social Impact with full course credit given. Applicants must have at least 5 years full-time relevant work experience in government, corporate or not-for-profit.
You may be asked to provide evidence of your English proficiency to study at UNSW depending on your educational background and citizenship. English language skills are vitally important for coping with lectures, tutorials, assignments and examinations - this is why UNSW requires a minimum English language competency for enrolment.
If you're completing an Australian Year 12 qualification (e.g. NSW HSC or equivalent), you do not need to provide anything extra to prove your proficiency. Your qualification will be used as evidence of your English proficiency.
If you do need to provide evidence of your English proficiency, this will be indicated in your application. You can prove this by providing evidence that you meet one or more of the following criteria:
