Demand for agribusiness professionals continues to grow. This course provides students with the opportunity to enhance or develop their competencies in key multi-disciplinary agribusiness content areas. It is designed for both candidates with an agribusiness background wishing to enhance their skills and candidates seeking to gain employment in the agribusiness sector.
A candidate shall:
(a) hold an AQF Level 7 qualification; or
(b) have at least three years relevant work experience.
Applicants admitted under rule (b) must submit a Statement of Service from an employer.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
Examples include positions in small, medium and large agribusiness companies; banking, finance and insurance services sectors; business and market analysis; commodity trading; policy analysis; primary production; sales; government departments and international agencies.
