About this scholarship

Applications are invited for the following scholarship leading to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy or Master of Philosophy in the School of Agriculture, Food & Wine.

The scholarship is supported by The Grosset Gaia Fund.

Field of Study: Oenology, Chemistry and Sensory

Eligibility: Applicants must be:

  • Australian or New Zealand Citizens or permanent residents of Australia who are acceptable as candidates for a postgraduate degree at the University of Adelaide.
  • In receipt of a Major Scholarship (Research Training Program Scholarship, Faculty Divisional Scholarship or equivalent)

Stipend:  The scholarship is valued at $4,000 per annum, with an additional $2,250 per annum operating funds The duration of the scholarship will be for a maximum of 3 years for PhD or 2 years for Masters. It is likely to be tax exempt, subject to Taxation Office approval.
