Course structure

The Professional Certificate in Nuclear Law examines both international legal and domestic legal regulation relating to nuclear energy, with particular focus upon the law relating to nuclear safety, safeguards and security. Students will examine topics including the AUKUS arrangements, nuclear energy and human health, impacts upon the environment, nuclear trade, nuclear accidents and liability, and nuclear waste management. In addition, the program will appeal to those wishing to further develop their scholarly skills in legal research and writing.

The Professional Certificate in Nuclear Law is a non-AQF qualification with a standard full-time duration of 0.25 years.
