There are many reasons we encourage graduates to apply for an honours year. You might want to build a necessary foundation for postgraduate research. You could be seeking answers to questions no one else is asking in the social sciences. Perhaps you're pursuing advanced communication skills and subject knowledge to gain a competitive edge in the job market.
Entry into honours is selective and competitive. Our prerequisite is a distinction standard GPA. Applications are called for by departments/disciplines in October and November each year.
