Masters (Coursework)
The Master of Education (Advanced) offers current teachers, education practitioners and professionals the opportunity to elevate their knowledge and skills, research capabilities and expertise in targeted areas of educational theory and practice. The course includes a solid foundation in the research of inclusion, leadership, and social justice, providing knowledge and skills to students to be empowered to enact change in program, policy, and project design. Choose from three specialisation streams:
Leadership and Innovation
Through a leadership lens, gain advanced theoretical and practical insights to identify challenges and opportunities in education. Learn to devise effective strategies in response, understand technology's role in modern learning settings and critically assess contemporary educational innovations.
Inclusive Literacies
Investigate literacy practices, focusing on diagnosis and intervention. Learn to manage reading literacy in culturally and linguistically diverse contexts. Grounded in research on inclusion, leadership and social justice, this course equips you to effect change in program, policy and project design.
Inclusive Education
Employing a person-centred approach, this course develops skills to address diverse learning needs. Informed by evidence-based research and pedagogy, and neurodivergent community consultations, it equips you to assist autistic and neurodiverse individuals, as well as those with mental health challenges.
