The leadership training component of the doctorate includes courses from UQ, Queensland Health, hospitals, or medical colleges. You will also be given an opportunity to be mentored by a senior medical specialist who can provide you with advice about career progression.

Your research project will be completed at your current workplace and will be supported by both an academic adviser at UQ and an adviser in your workplace.
