Entry requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Education (Curriculum), applicants must also meet the following specific requirements:

  • Be eligible for teacher registration in Australia; and either
  • Successfully complete the University of Notre Dame Australia Graduate Certificate of Education (Curriculum) or equivalent; or
  • Have at least two years of full-time professional experience in either a primary or secondary school setting.

Suppose you have been teaching for some time and have the practical experience and desire to develop your education career further, this Master's degree is the perfect course for you. The Master of Education (Curriculum) is designed to meet the needs of professional teachers like you who wish to undertake further career development.

Our flexible study options will ensure that you can accommodate your existing teaching load. Tuition will be available face-to-face and externally, either full-time or part-time. In addition, we schedule face-to-face sessions during school holidays or Saturdays.

The program consists of eight courses: two compulsory, one elective and five specialisation courses. One compulsory theology course and an elective to be chosen from Religious Education, Leadership and Management, Early Childhood Education, Special Learning Needs, and Curriculum.
