Gain a postgraduate qualification to provide you with the knowledge and skills to support a career in clinical leadership.Our online, flexible Graduate Certificate in Clinical Leadership (Aspiring Leaders) will give you the skills to excel in a variety of leadership and management settings.
To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Leadership (Aspiring Leaders) applicants must also meet the following specific requirements.
The program will be available to students who have a previous Nursing degree or equivalent; or; who have a previous allied health degree or professional equivalence.
The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Leadership (Aspiring Leaders) program is focused on advancing the leadership and management skills of participants aspiring to clinical leadership positions. The program is suitable for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals. The courses of study will inform leadership and management strategies, quality processes, professional development and/or emotional intelligence. This program will equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills to prepare participants to progress in their careers within the clinical management settings.
After successfully completing the program, if you want to further upgrade your qualifications you can enrol in a Graduate Diploma of Nursing followed by a Master of Nursing (Leadership and Management). You are welcome to apply if you are a Registered Nurse with a nursing degree or, have appropriate experience in a relevant area of discipline.
