The Master of Human Resource Management (Advanced) will give you the skills required to help organisations transition and businesses change.

With a strong emphasis on applying the knowledge, the Master of Human Resource Management (Advanced) will put you in practical business environments where you'll work on real world projects provided by our industry partners.

In addition, the Master of Human Resource Management (Advanced) provides you with the option to complete research units if you want to pursue further study with a PhD, or you can complete additional electives if you want to extend your business knowledge.

The course is taught in blended mode, which combines face-to-face delivery with online study, meaning you get the best of both worlds - efficient class-time, where you'll engage in debate and meet real practitioners, while also completing your course online, when it's convenient for you. This gives you some flexibility in balancing your study with your work and home commitments.
 
The Master of Human Resource Management (Advanced) forms the final stage in a nested suite of programs consisting of:
^ Students are unable to enrol directly into the Graduate Diploma however it is available as an exit award. (Not available by Admission)

A student cannot be awarded two masters level courses from the same nested suite.

Course structure

To qualify for the award of Master of Human Resource Management (Advanced), students must complete 200 credit points comprising of:

  • 10 core units (125 credit points)
  • 6 elective units (75 credit points)

OR

  • 10 core units (125 credit points)
  • 2 research options (37.5 credit points)
  • 3 elective units (37.5 credit points)

Maximum Academic CreditThe maximum level of credit that can be granted for the Master of Human Resource Management (Advanced) is 100 credit points (normally eight units)

Credit for prior study or work
