About this course

Students completing the Master of Digital Business Management / Master of Business Administration (Executive) commonly aspire to be part of the organisation's senior management team. They require not only a current and deep understanding of their specialist management area, but also a good working understanding of other key areas in the business. This 16-unit degree enables information systems and IT management professionals to gain a thorough understanding of the management of other business areas, and managers of other areas to gain a good understanding of information systems and digital business management.

This course is for working professionals. That's why we offer it in intensive mode. It's an efficient and faster way to complete a postgraduate qualification with minimal impact on your professional and personal life. Units (subjects) are either delivered after work hours or on Fridays or Saturdays, and run throughout the year in six week teaching periods instead of the usual 12-week semesters. This means you can complete more units and graduate faster, or take breaks when you need to.

Course structure

To qualify for the award of Master of Digital Business Management / Master of Business Administration (Executive), students must satisfy the course requirements of both the Master of Digital Business Management and the Master of Business Administration (Executive) to be eligible for the double degree.

Students must complete 16 units of study (200 credit points) as follows:

  • 15 core units (187.5 credit points)
  • 1 Applied Project unit (12.5 credit points).

Students are not eligible to exit with intermediary awards (i.e. students cannot exit with a graduate certificate or graduate diploma in this degree).Maximum Academic CreditThe maximum level of credit that can be granted for the Master of Digital Business Management / Master of Business Administration (Executive) is 100 credit points (normally eight units)

Credit for prior study or work
