The Master of Business Administration (Advanced) course focuses on leadership and change, innovation and entrepreneurship, finance, ethical practices and social responsibility. It equips students with the capacity to start new ventures or initiate organisational improvements successfully by building on authentic learning experiences and solutions-driven business scenarios.
 
It provides an excellent opportunity for students not only to gain holistic management and business knowledge which prepares them for general management roles but also allows them to pursue a career in a particular field, which brings relevance to the specialisations embedded within this program.
 
This enables students to accelerate their careers in general and specialist management roles by equipping them with skills that are critical to the future of work such as critical thinking, analytical, problem solving, strategic decision making and team working skills and thus prepares them well for ever more complex and uncertain business environments.

Course structure

To qualify for the award of Master of Business Administration (Advanced), students must complete 16 (or equivalent) units (200 credit points) comprising of:

  • 10 core units (125 credit points)
  • 6 units comprising:- 1 Specialisation (50 credit points) and 2 elective units (25 credit points) OR - 6 electives (75 credit points)

Maximum Academic CreditThe maximum level of credit that can be granted for the Master of Business Administration (Advanced) is 100 credit points (normally eight units)

Credit for prior study or work
