The Graduate Certificate in Accounting is flexible, allowing you to focus on the areas that most interest you. Topics include business and managerial accounting, financial reporting, contemporary issues in accounting, economics and quantitative analysis, finance, information systems and legal studies.
Multiple career opportunities exist for graduates within accounting and financial services. This course is also a pathway towards our industry-accredited Master of Professional Accounting.
Students study four of the eight core units of the Master of Professional Accounting including business accounting, information systems, financial reporting, contemporary issues in accounting, as well as legal studies, finance, economics and quantitative analysis.
Completion of this course opens opportunities in a variety of roles in the accounting and financial services industry. The course will also enhance the financial knowledge and skills of business owners and managers in any industry.
To be eligible to receive the Graduate Certificate in Accounting students must complete the equivalent of 4 units (48 credit points), comprising 4 core units.
