About this scholarship

What you'll receive

  • a scholarship to cover 25% of your tuition fees for your first two semesters (one year) of study at QUT, provided you meet the minimum academic standards.
    • Available from all faculties.
  • an ongoing scholarship to cover 25% of your tuition fees per semester of study at QUT, provided you meet the ongoing academic conditions for all eligible courses offered by:
    • QUT Business School
    • Creative Industries Faculty
    • Faculty of Education
    • Faculty of Law
    • Science and Engineering Faculty
      • Please note that the ongoing scholarship is not available for courses offered by the Faculty of Health.
  • Other benefits may include:
    • scholarship award ceremony
    • membership of the QUT College of Excellence
    • access to QUT's Leadership and Development Program.

Eligibility

General eligibility requirements

You must meet all the following requirements:

  • completed a qualifying course with the required academic result
  • meet minimum English language entry requirements for the degree program. If you complete a QUT pathway program for the purpose of satisfying QUT English language requirements, you may be eligible for this scholarship once you start your degree program
  • receive an admission offer letter into one of the eligible courses offered by participating faculties.

You're not eligible if:

  • you receive another QUT academic scholarship.

Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE)

21 aggregate score based on best 5 subjects across core, and category A or C electives where 2 is the minimum accepted grade

India - All India Senior School Certificate, academic stream, awarded by CBSE or CISCE

80% over best 5 subjects (2 languages and 3 academic subjects), excluding PE

India - State Board (10+2), Senior Higher Secondary School Certificate

  • Science and Engineering Faculty.

It is available for students who:

  • have demonstrated academic excellence in their past studies
  • continue to achieve high standards for the duration of their studies.
