You must have:
a recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in a relevant allied health field (e.g. medical radiation nursing podiatry or physiotherapy)
access to suitable clinical experience in medical ultrasound for the duration of the course
You must provide with your online application a completed Clinical Supervisor form (PDF file 108 KB).
Overseas qualificationsWe will consider equivalent overseas qualifications for admissions purposes. If you have tertiary qualifications from countries where English is not the standard language of instruction you must provide evidence of English language proficiency.

QUT's Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound is designed to be accessible to rural and regional Queenslanders and interstate students seeking a nationally accredited sonography qualification.
This course is offered as a two year part-time program.
Over its duration students are invited to attend three one-week intensive blocks at QUT's Gardens Point campus. To complement their learning students will access new ultrasound simulators and online interactive resources.
