Australian Institute of Energy Scholarship

The Australian Institute of Energy (AIE) Scholarships have been established in the spirit of benevolence to support students from Murdoch University. The scholarship is valued at $3,000 per year. Payment will be made to students in two $1,500 instalments following the HECS census dates of semesters one and two. The amount can be used at the recipient’s discretion to contribute towards payment of their course fees, or for other education-related expenses such as books, accommodation, travel costs etc.

Payment: Two instalments of $1,500 after the HECS census date of your first and second semester.

Eligibility: To apply for this scholarship you must:

• Be intending to enrol, or be enrolled full-time in a either Graduate Diploma in Energy and Carbon Studies; Graduate Diploma in Energy and the Environment or the Bachelor of Engineering Honours in Renewable Energy Engineering. (We will consider part time students who are studying 6 credit points/semester).
• Be an internal student.
• Be an international onshore student, Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Demonstrate academic achievement, personal or/and financial hardship as well as some proven interest in the energy sector.
• Do not hold any other Murdoch University scholarships.

Please note that existing AIE Recipients are ineligible to apply again for future AIE scholarships.
