2018 & 2019 International Welcome Scholarship (IWS)

Number: Multiple scholarships are available

Value:

• $11,000 for Business and Governance eligible degree courses
• $11,000 for the Bachelor of Nursing course
• $8,000 for all other eligible courses

Closes: To be considered for a scholarship, applications for entry to an eligible course need to be submitted to the international admissions office at least two weeks prior to the start of the semester that the student intends to commence their studies at Murdoch.

Payment:

Subject to the terms and conditions of the scholarship being met, the scholarship will be paid directly to the recipient's Murdoch University tuition fee account in four instalments, across two years* at census date of each applicable semester.

There is no financial payout of this scholarship, nor is it refundable.

*If a scholarship recipient completed their course of study at Murdoch University within the four semester(two year) payment cycle, they will not be eligible for a financial payout of the scholarship remaining value. More information: Please see the Terms and Conditions here

Eligibility:

This scholarship is only for those who are:

• an international, full fee paying student;
• commencing studies at one of Murdoch's Western Australia campuses in 2018 or 2019;
• commencing studies in an eligible coursework program; and
• a citizen from one of the following countries or regions:Africa, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China (inclusive of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), India, Indonesia, Latin America (as of S1 2019), Malaysia, Mexico, The Middle East, Mongolia (as of S2 2018), Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam.

Eligible Courses

• All undergraduate degrees available to international students and delivered at one of Murdoch's Western Australian campus'
• All honours degrees available to international students and delivered at one of Murdoch's Western Australian campus'
• All Graduate Diploma and Masters by Coursework degrees available to international students and delivered at one of Murdoch's Western Australian campus
