There are many directions your career might take and you can be employed in challenging positions in a range of organisations.
You may go into local government as a strategic or statutory planner working on local development proposals or resolving community disputes. You may work in state agencies that manage environmentally sensitive areas or providing transport and other infrastructure.
You may work with Australian or international firms that specialise in community planning or delivering affordable housing. Other graduates fill roles in not-for-profit organisations in underdeveloped or overdeveloped places far and wide, where you'll confront diverse climatic and cultural issues.
