About this course

The course provides a broad knowledge and practical training in the applications of reproductive biology to current human clinical and veterinary medicine, and explores social and ethical issues raised by the use of these techniques.

The course also provides an opportunity for those interested in expanding or refreshing their understanding of reproduction and development to update their knowledge. On completion of the course, students will be able to demonstrate a thorough theoretical understanding of human and animal reproductive sciences and demonstrate practical techniques currently in use in human medical and veterinary reproductive sciences.

Students who pass all units for this course and achieve an overall grade average of distinction (70 per cent) or above may qualify for admission into higher degrees by research (HDR) and the Master of Clinical Embryology.
