Creative writing — expressing yourself with flair and accuracy — is a key skill for life and most professions.
If you love writing and reading literature and want to challenge yourself to develop your craft and technique, our highly practical Master of Creative Writing is your pathway to effective creative writing and non-fiction, while our Master of Children’s Literature will provide you with practical experience in analysing and critiquing a diversity of texts and genres – including picture books, children’s films, graphic novels and young adult fiction.
Accomplished author Dr Jane Messer will explain the unique features of Macquarie’s Master of Creative Writing, while Dr Victoria Flanagan will share why Macquarie is a world leader in the important field of children’s literature. Join us to hear how our programs, which can be studied online or on campus, develop careers of emerging and aspiring writers, communication professionals including editors and journalists, and school teachers, especially English literature teachers.
