The aim of the Master of Nursing Science program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills in evidence-based practice and research. There is also the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in education and/or management and leadership. The program enables students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, specialised proficiency and effective communication skills for ethically oriented professional practice in nursing, including in education or management. Students will be able to make high-level independent judgements, plan, implement and evaluate practice, and function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. This course is ideal for suitably qualified nurses who want to pursue a career in nursing education, or leadership and management and to develop or improve their research skills.
