Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Our program in musculoskeletal physiotherapy has run since 1983 and attracts qualified practitioners from around Australia. Our experienced postgraduate physiotherapy educators have positioned us as an industry leader in Australia. This course is designed to allow you to complete your education in your own time with minimal disruption to your work and home life. You can study part-time over one or two years. Please note: to be eligible for enrolment in this course you must be a qualified and fully registered physiotherapist with Australian residency. You will access cutting edge knowledge from some of Australias best physiotherapy clinicians and educators, including Olympic physiotherapists, Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and AFL physiotherapists, Specialist Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapists (as awarded by the Australian Physiotherapy Association), as well as world leading researchers in the area of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Your 160 hours of supervised clinical practice will be completed in hospital outpatient departments and/or private physiotherapy clinics, under the supervision of APA registered musculoskeletal physiotherapists. This will give you the opportunity to improve your skills in examining a client's spinal and/or peripheral musculoskeletal regions. You will also get a chance to integrate advanced manipulative physiotherapy manual techniques and exercise prescription into your clinical practice.
