If your first year you'll undertake foundation subjects to develop your skills in the area of occupational health and safety and ergonomics. In the second year you will further develop your knowledge and skills to address the complex nature of workplace occupational health and safety issues. In your final year of study you'll determine the future of your career as you choose to follow either a practical (Mode 1) or research (Mode 2) stream, choosing to apply the skills you have already learned to either a practical workplace based research project, or a minor thesis through which you conduct systematic research to explore an ergonomics/OHS issue, supervised by an experienced researcher.
