La Trobe Law School’s Juris Doctor offers an innovative, high quality legal education with a global and social justice perspective on the law. It includes all the compulsory subjects required by the Victorian Legal Admissions Board for admission to the legal profession as an Australian lawyer. The degree is offered at La Trobe’s City Campus with access to contemporary interactive learning facilities in the heart of Melbourne’s legal precinct. Teaching is conducted in small classes during the day and in the evening, but some classes may be offered on weekends. The emphasis of assessment tasks is on practical skills and hands-on experience.
