The Graduate Certificate of Professional Archaeology is a 60 CP course that provides preparation for those wishing to enter commercial archaeology or professional development for practitioners wanting to enhance existing knowledge and skills in specialist areas. It covers a range of topics including Aboriginal and historical archaeology, GIS, faunal analysis, and the preparation of Cultural Heritage Management Plans.   The course may serve as a pathway into the Graduate Diploma of Professional Archaeology and Master of Professional Archaeology degrees.  All subjects are taught in block mode and online. Graduates of the Graduate Certificate of Professional Archaeology apply this knowledge and skills in cultural heritage management, archaeological research and analysis and /or for further learning.
