Please note that all prospective candidates should apply under the course code LDPH - other codes (LDBA, LMPHD, RDPH, RPHDB, THPHD) are for currently enrolled candidates and are being phased out. Within this course code you will be based in either the La Trobe Business School or the Law School. All new candidates commencing in the La Trobe Business School will undertake compulsory and elective coursework subjects (listed below) in the first year (or equivalent) of your course. This coursework is designed to help you develop the skills and knowledge that will assist you in conducting your research. You will also attend a research seminar series. At the end of your first year you will submit a written research proposal of 10,000 words and give a presentation to confirm your candidature. Candidates in the La Trobe Law School focus on the production of a thesis during their candidature and do not have any coursework requirements.
