About this course

This course will only be available for continuing students. Prospective students wishing to study audiology should apply for the Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Clinical Audiology. Demand for audiologists, globally, is expected to increase significantly over coming years due to a number of factors, such as the ageing population, improved and compulsory screening of infants for hearing loss, improved technology and increased consumer demand for diagnostic and rehabilitative audiological services. All graduate audiologists must complete the intern year, which includes employment in general audiology practice. Graduates will be eligible to work in a number of audiological areas including hospitals, early intervention centres, cochlear implant centres, health and community centres, government organisations, academic institutions and private practice. The course requires the completion of 540 credit points over four years of full-time study.
