In first year, you’ll study the fundamentals of health science and in second year, you’ll deepen your knowledge of biosciences and develop your physiotherapy skills. In the final two years, you’ll apply your knowledge in the areas of cardiothoracic, neurological, musculoskeletal dysfunction, women’s health and paediatrics in a variety of settings. In the final year, you can pursue a range of speciality areas including advanced neurology and private practice. La Trobe’s Bachelor of Applied Science/Master of Physiotherapy Practice gives you clinical training equivalent to seven months of work experience. Undertake your work placements close to home or overseas.
