As a speech pathologist, you will be equipped to work in a wide range of health and educational settings. Admission will not normally be granted for an undergraduate degree that has been completed more than ten years prior to the time of application for admission. If studies were completed more than ten years prior to the time of application, applicants must have:

* Whilst there are no prerequisite study areas for admission, desirable areas include: Psychology; Health Science; Public Health; Medical Science; Human Services; Education; Linguistics.
As the number of applicants may exceed the places available, selection for admission is competitive and will be based upon (1) academic merit and (2) interview.
You may have the opportunity to work in a variety of areas including hospitals, community and rehabilitation centres, schools (kindergarten to high school), nursing homes, disability services and in private practice.
