Entry requirements

Applicants for the Master of Professional Engineering Leadership must:

  • possess an accredited or recognised four-year Bachelor degree in Engineering from a recognised university (or another tertiary education institution of equivalent standing)
  • AND have been awarded Chartered Professional Engineer Status (CPEng) by Engineers Australia.

Upon acceptance, students will be granted 40 credit points of advanced standing on the basis of their current Chartered Status through Engineers Australia.

As you will already be a Chartered Engineer with extensive industry experience prior to your enrolment in this degree, it will help you in your transition to senior engineering, management and leadership roles such as Chief Engineer, Engineering Executive, Engineering Manager, Project/Porfolio Manager and other Corporate Executive roles in the engineering sector.

Credit for prior study or work

No further credit in addition to the 40 credit points of advanced standing will be approved for this 80 credit point Masters program. Students are required to complete 40 credit points in the Griffith program to meet requirements.
