This qualification will help you drive change in water management by helping you to gain the leadership skills required to exert effective influence.
You'll construct an individual leadership development plan and be coached through the elements of that plan to effectively develop your ability to drive challenging change projects in water management.
The degree is tailored to the water sector and is based on research into effective leadership development in the water sector, meaning you'll directly develop relevant leadership skills for your work as a water professional.
Industry and expert connections
During the program you will develop and implement a personalised leadership development plan and receive one-on-one coaching conducted by experienced International WaterCentre leadership coaches. You'll also be given the opportunity to listen to and discuss with senior and emerging leaders from across the Australian and New Zealand water sectors.
The learning approach is heavily work-based, focussing on using theories, frameworks and tools to improve your ability to exert leadership in your work context.
You'll have the opportunity to hear from industry experts, water leadership coaches and specialist trainers. You'll also have access to a group mentor drawn from the ranks of leading executive water leaders.

You will leave a more confident leader, ready to drive change and advance more sustainable forms of water management.
You can also choose to continue your studies through our Master of Catchment Science or Master of Integrated Water Management degrees.
