Masters (Coursework)
Applicants must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
Graduates already with a Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching are specialised into English as a Second Language (ESL)/Languages Other than English (LOTE).
Students are strongly encouraged to check employment requirements and conditions with potential employers before enrolling in a TESOL course.
Graduate Certificate
Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Education (Leadership and Management) must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. In addition, applicants must have at least two yearsâ relevant work experience within an organisation.
Masters
Masters (2 years): Applicants must hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution, and have at least two years relevant work experience within an organisation.
Masters (1.5 years): Applicants must hold a bachelor degree in education, teaching or a closely related discipline, and have at least two years relevant work experience within an organisation.
Applicants must normally hold Flinders Universityâs Graduate Diploma in Engineering Science (specialisation B1-B3), or a relevant Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Engineering Science or equivalent overseas qualification with an average grade of credit (5.0) or greater. Students without such a qualification should apply for the Graduate Diploma in Engineering Science.
Applicants for the Graduate Certificate in Archaeology must normally hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
Graduate Diploma
Applicants for the Graduate Diploma in Archaeology and Heritage Management must normally hold an approved bachelor degree from an approved tertiary institution.
Applicants for the Master of Archaeology and Heritage Management will qualify for either the 2-year or 1.5-year program.
Applicants who hold: an approved bachelor degree in any discipline; an honours degree in any discipline; or a graduate certificate or graduate diploma in archaeology, heritage studies, or a related discipline, are eligible for the basic level entry, and will complete up to 72 units of study. Applicants who hold a bachelor degree or honours degree in archaeology, heritage management or a closely related discipline are eligible for the 1.5-year program, and will complete up to 54 units of study. Selection is based on academic merit with an above credit average required.
Applicants for the masters must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution or have completed the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
Applicants for the graduate certificate must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
Applicants for the graduate diploma must normally hold an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution.
Master of Arts (International Development)
For direct entry into the Master of Arts (International Development), applicants should hold an approved bachelor degree or equivalent qualification with a specialisation in a social sciences or humanities-related field.
Master of International Development
For direct entry into the Master of International Development, applicants must hold a recognised bachelor degree, with a GPA of 5.0 or higher, in a social sciences or humanities related field from an approved tertiary institution.
Graduate Certificate Masters
Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification. Applicants with an Australian-accredited degree in accounting are not eligible for admission into the Master of Accounting and Marketing.
