The Graduate Certificate in Paramedicine (Re - entry) is designed to allow applicants who have previously completed an entry to practice program in Paramedicine to apply for registration without having to complete the full qualification again.

Also designed for paramedics who have had time away from the profession and no longer have recency of practice. These are typically staff who have left the industry due to parental responsibilities or for other reasons. also, there is a group of potential applicants that have completed double degrees in Nursing/Paramedicine however have commenced their Nursing career and would like to explore a career in Paramedicine at a later date.

You will be completing the program part-time (2 courses per semester) and mainly study online with on campus block mode practical classes.

Graduates will have received a clinical refresher on all key areas of Paramedicine and will be able to use this qualification (along with their previous Paramedicine qualification) to apply for registration as a Paramedic with AHPRA.
