About this course

Provides an opportunity for practicing engineers and technologists to update and broaden their discipline skills to adapt to new requirements for professional practice.

This course offers a comprehensive exposure to concepts and techniques concerning the design and operation of natural and engineered environmental systems, as well as the incorporation of the broader issues of sustainability and environmental impact in the design of processes and infrastructure.

For recent graduates this course enables the adding of a second specialisation to a first degree, thus broadening opportunities for career development. For more experienced engineers, the course can contribute to ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements, and provide a pathway to adding a second area of accredited practice or to bring knowledge and skills up to date with modern standards.
