“The Minerals Research Institute of Western Australia is a statutory body established by the Western Australian Government under the Minerals Research Institute of Western Australia Act 2013 to stimulate minerals research to support investment in, and operation of, a globally competitive minerals industry in Western Australia”
The purpose of these scholarships is to support graduate research training in disciplines underpinning the Minerals Industry in Western Australia by enabling students of exceptional research promise to undertake higher degrees by research at universities in Western Australia. A total of four (4) scholarships will be awarded across the universities in Western Australia.
The scholarships are typically awarded to PhD students enrolled in the Faculties of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics and Science. However, relevant applications will be considered from candidates in other Faculties.
