About this scholarship

The Australian Government is committed to providing support to Australian students to study overseas as part of their Australian qualification.
Endeavour Mobility Grant objectives are to:

  1. support students to study overseas as part of their qualification
  2. create opportunities for students to engage globally with other students, institutions and employers

The grant is specific to the country of destination and semester of student exchange placement.

This grant is specific to students participating on an exchange program with the University of New Brunswick, Canada in Semester 1, 2018.

This grant provides a total of $2,500 paid as a one-off payment.  Payment is made upon confirmation of exchange enrolment and prior to departure to the Host University

Eligible courses

All courses, however student must be approved to undertake exchange placement.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants for this grant must be able to meet the semester student exchange program criteria and be accepted by the host institution.

Students applying for two semesters of consecutive exchange at the same host university will only be considered for a scholarship in their first semester of exchange.

Students must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

NOT ELIGIBLE:

  • Students who have received a Curtin International Scholarship or another Curtin International administered scholarship such as ISEP, EKSEP or New Colombo Plan (multiple schoalrships may be permitted at the discretion of the Study Abroad and Student Exchange Office).
  • Students receiving the John Curtin Undergraduate Scholarship (JCUS) or Don Watts High Achiever Scholarship.

Conditions that need to be met to keep your scholarship

To maintain the scholarship, students must:

  1. Maintain a full time enrolment of at least 75 credits per semester in the course that they received the offer for the scholarship at Curtin University, unless approved otherwise by the Study Abroad and Student Exchange (SASE) Office
  2. Successfully complete the semester student exchange program
  3. Be good Curtin Ambassadors and actively promote Curtin University as an exchange destination and participate in a SASE Office promotional activity upon their return to Curtin University

Unless there are exceptional circumstances, a recipient with unsatisfactory progress or who breaches the scholarship conditions shall be ineligible to retain the scholarship. Determination of exceptional circumstances shall be at the discretion of the Manager, Mobility and Sponsor Development.
