About this course

Outline Outline

This internationally focused, two-year master degree is ideal if you are looking to move into a new career in business.

During your first semester, you'll study core commerce units that will enhance your employability, including business project management, business analytics and data visualisation, and transformative technologies that impact society and its business practices. These units will help to extend your core knowledge in varied areas of business and STEM, and allow you to network with a wider range of peers.

You'll then choose a major of your choice to suit your interests and gain knowledge of practices, principle and concepts in that business discipline. You'll undertake practical learning experiences that give you the ability to solve complex business problems. You'll also gain knowledge and research skills that you can apply to your particular industry.

Towards the end of your course, you'll complete a capstone experience, which may include an internship, consultancy experience, research project or study tour. Your capstone experience will grow your business acumen, skill sets, networks and knowledge of industry settings before your graduate.

Note: If you have a bachelor degree relevant to your chosen major, you may be exempt from studying our commerce core units and be able to complete this course after 1.5 years full-time study. If you have a relevant bachelor degree, plus five years relevant work experience, you may be able to complete this course after one year.
